Who Can Apply?

The M&S General Clinic Internship Program is open to dedicated and enthusiastic students and recent graduates who wish to gain real-world hospital experience under the guidance of qualified medical professionals

Eligibility

Academic Background

  • Final-year students or graduates from an accredited health training institution.

  • Students in their final internship year are also eligible

 

    • Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB)

    • Nursing and Midwifery

    • Medical Laboratory Technology / Science

    • Radiology & Ultrasound Technology

    • Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences

    • Physiotherapy or Rehabilitation Therapy

    • Public Health and Health Administration

Candidates should demonstrate a positive academic record and professional conduct within their training institutions.

  • Applicants should be physically and mentally fit to work in a clinical environment.

  • All interns are expected to observe the highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, and patient respect

To ensure transparency and proper verification, each applicant must upload:

  • Copy of National ID or Passport

  • Copy of Student ID or Recent Graduation Proof

  • Letter of Introduction from the training institution (for students)

  • Updated CV (maximum 2 pages)

Applicants are typically between 18 and 35 years old, though exceptional cases outside this range may be reviewed

We welcome both local and international applicants, including exchange students or visiting trainees who wish to gain exposure to the Ugandan healthcare system.
International applicants are encouraged to apply at least one month before the intended start date to allow for travel and documentation arrangements.
